This workshop is the perfect way to customize your planters exactly the way you envision. Bring your own planters or use some of our 15” pots. Create as many planters as you’d like! Is it too early to plant perennials?? The answer

Is it too early to plant perennials??

The answer is, it depends! There are two types of perennials: Cold-Hardy or Tender. Cold-Hardy perennials include, hellebore and brunnera because they contain a protective layer (waxy coat/little hairs) for the colder temperatures. Tender perennials include plants like peony’s or bleeding heart, which have no layer of protection.

For all our Plant Lovers itching to get started on your gardens, GOOD NEWS! We have lots of cold-hardy perennial options available that can be planted now. 🌸🌿

You may be asking, when can I plant my tender perennials? A general rule of thumb is to wait until May 15th, for the last threat of frost. BUT we do live in Michigan, so make sure you tune in to the weather forecast! If there’s a chance of frost, wrap your perennials in small blanket over night.
