It has attractive green foliage with hints of chartreuse which emerges yellow in spring. The serrated lobed leaves are highly ornamental but do not develop any appreciable fall color. It features abundant showy red capsules from early to mid fall. The peeling tan bark and dark red branches add an interesting dimension to the landscape. Landscape Attributes Tiny Wine® Gold Ninebark is a multi-stemmed deciduous shrub with a more or less rounded form. Its relatively fine texture sets it apart from other landscape plants with less refined foliage. This is a relatively low maintenance shrub, and can be pruned at anytime. It has no significant negative characteristics.
